Dave Hegemann is the President and CEO of LCS and the original developer of Rent Manager®. Dave was born and raised in St. Mary’s, Ohio and showed a clear interest in computers from an early age. In fact, he created the software that evolved into LCS’ flagship product Rent Manager.

Dave earned a B.S. in Systems Analysis from the University of Dayton in 1986 and participated in the university’s Cooperative Education program while pursuing his degree. In 1988, he incorporated LCS and continued working for another company while managing the sale of Rent Manager® on the side. In 1990, he completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Xavier University. Five years later, Dave made the decision to make LCS his full-time pursuit.

Today, LCS is a developer of business-critical software technologies used in all 50 states and 17 countries around the world. In addition to Rent Manager, LCS offers customers a feature-rich VoIP telephone system with Net Dial Tone (NDT); and enterprise-level hosting solutions via its Sentry Data Center, a state-of-the-art data facility located at the company’s Loveland, Ohio headquarters. LCS also provides complete network design, implementation, support services, and custom website design through its IT and Professional Services divisions.

Dave’s dedication to creating dynamic products and taking care of customers has positioned Rent Manager as an industry leader. LCS has grown to more than 400 employees under his direction and continues to develop new products that integrate and interface with Rent Manager. This dedication to offering customers streamlined and simplified technology experiences has enabled LCS to experience a 15 or more percent growth rate for over 20 straight years.

Ashli Allen has had several roles during her 20+ year tenure with AmRent, a leading provider of resident screening services. After starting in the company’s Consumer Assistance department, she moved to a special projects and research role to focus on the AmRent database and industry compliance requirements. Now as the VP of Vendor Relations, she oversees the Inside Sales department and manages key vendor relationships.

Ashli holds certifications from the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) in Consumer Interviewing and General Knowledge Awareness of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ashli is a fan of travel shows and enjoys planning her next adventure, one destination at a time.

Vanessa Anderson, COO of PropertyTek, transforms property management through strategic technology integration and operational excellence. With more than 20 years of driving growth from startups to enterprise-scale operations, she previously led transformational initiatives at Guaranteed Rate’s title platform, Ravenswood Title. Now as the COO of PropertyTek, Vanessa delivers measurable improvements in efficiency and profitability. MIT Sloan MBA and Wharton-educated, Vanessa specializes in scaling property management operations while maintaining service quality.

Gwenn Aspen is the co-founder and CEO of Anequim LLC. Anequim helps property management companies operate more efficient and thrive through customer service assistance, marketing initiatives, accounting services, and much more. Gwen sources and manages a remote workforce for the Call Center and Anequim Office Services. She is also the co-host of the Bootstrappers Podcast, which releases bi-weekly episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Gwenn was also a founder of the Wistar Group property management company in Omaha, Nebraska, which manages 1,200+ doors and recently sold to Pure in 2021.

With over 20 years in the housing industry, Zach Beck is an expert in helping property owners and managers save time and money through effective utility management. He leads sales across Conservice’s HOA, Manufactured Housing, and Single Family divisions.

Michael Brown is the Chief Revenue Officer at Rent Butter, Inc., driving growth across diverse rental housing markets with over two decades of expertise in sales and rental housing software. He is known for leading go-to-market functions and delivering innovative, AI-driven tools that optimize decision-making for operators. With leadership experience at CoreLogic, RealPage, and Inhabit, Michael excels in building strong industry relationships and fostering collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and revenue growth.

Curtis Dudley, CEO of IT In Flow, is an information technology consultant who helps businesses implement modern technology and automate processes in their businesses. Curtis is Rent Manager Core certified and has been described as the “Rent Manager Whisperer” because he is such a renowned Rent Manager power user and an out-of-the-box thinker. Curtis is also the go-to question-answerer in the Rent Manager User Forum on Facebook.

His experience using technology in the industry began more than 30 years ago while working for his family’s property management business. He has a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and was formerly the Chief Information Officer for All County Property Management.

Dr. Lesli Gooch is the Chief Executive Officer of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and a recognized leader in housing policy, advocacy, and regulatory affairs. With a decade of experience at MHI, she has built a highly effective team that has delivered significant legislative and regulatory victories for the manufactured housing industry. Notable recent achievements of Dr. Gooch and her team include protecting the industry from being subject to poorly constructed Department of Energy building standards as well as securing the first comprehensive update to HUD construction standards in over a decade, expanding the scope of manufactured housing to include single-section duplexes and multi-unit designs.

Dr. Gooch’s impact on housing innovation and homeownership expansion has earned her numerous accolades, the most recent being the prestigious Jack E. Wells Memorial Award for her efforts on behalf of the industry. Prior to joining MHI, Dr. Gooch served across a variety of vantage points in Washington – including as a congressional staff member, congressional candidate, lobbyist, and political scientist focused on Congress.

Julianne Goodfellow is Head of Community and Policy at the Real Estate Technology and Transformation Center (RETTC), where she spearheads the Center’s work at the intersection of technology policy and rental housing. She leads RETTC’s vibrant national network of peer groups, committees, and working groups—dynamic spaces where real estate tech leaders unite to solve shared challenges, explore emerging trends like AI governance, and amplify the industry’s voice in shaping policy.

RETTC, an affiliate of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), brings together real estate companies and technology providers to drive digital transformation in America. Mindy Gronbeck, CPM^®, CCIM, currently serves as the 2025 IREM President-Elect. Gronbeck also serves as executive vice president of property operations for HAWKINS, AMO^®, a full-service real estate firm specializing in real estate development and management, headquartered in Boise, ID.

Gronbeck has over 20 years of experience in retail real estate management and earned her CPM^® designation in 2007 and her CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in April 2023! She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2003.

Ray Hespen is the CEO and co-founder of Property Meld, a maintenance automation software company. Kristi Schulte has 17 years of property management experience. She is located in Duluth, MN where she is the operations manager of ShipRock Management. She handles all day to day operations, ensuring processes and procedures are executed efficiently and are in the best interest of all Residents and clients. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Minnesota and has sat on multiple board of directors. She has presented on other professional development topics through the Duluth area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Duluth program, as well.

Christian is a Connecticut native with over four years of sales experience. As the Channel Partnership Manager for LeaseTrack, Christian facilitates and manages the company’s relationship with Rent Manager.

In this role, he is instrumental in improving the LeaseTrack customer experience, particularly for Rent Manager customers who offer LeaseTrack renters insurance products. This working partnership between the two companies has been crucial in the success and adoption of renters insurance products through Rent Manager.
