Dave Hegemann is the President and CEO of LCS and the original developer of Rent Manager®. Dave was born and raised in St. Mary’s, Ohio and showed a clear interest in computers from an early age. In fact, he created the software that evolved into LCS’ flagship product Rent Manager.

Dave earned a B.S. in Systems Analysis from the University of Dayton in 1986 and participated in the university’s Cooperative Education program while pursuing his degree. In 1988, he incorporated LCS and continued working for another company while managing the sale of Rent Manager® on the side. In 1990, he completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Xavier University. Five years later, Dave made the decision to make LCS his full-time pursuit.

Today, LCS is a developer of business-critical software technologies used in all 50 states and 17 countries around the world. In addition to Rent Manager, LCS offers customers a feature-rich VoIP telephone system with Net Dial Tone (NDT); and enterprise-level hosting solutions via its Sentry Data Center, a state-of-the-art data facility located at the company’s Loveland, Ohio headquarters. LCS also provides complete network design, implementation, support services, and custom website design through its IT and Professional Services divisions.

Dave’s dedication to creating dynamic products and taking care of customers has positioned Rent Manager as an industry leader. LCS has grown to more than 400 employees under his direction and continues to develop new products that integrate and interface with Rent Manager. This dedication to offering customers streamlined and simplified technology experiences has enabled LCS to experience a 15 or more percent growth rate for over 20 straight years.

Ashli Allen is the VP of Vendor Relations with AmRent, a trusted provider of resident screening services. She has been with AmRent since 2004 and has had several roles. Ashli started with the AmRent Consumer Assistance department and then moved to special projects and a research role learning more about the AmRent database and industry compliance requirements.

After a change in roles to oversee the Inside Sales department, Ashli began to serve as the VP of Vendor Relations. She has received certifications from the CDIA as a Consumer Interviewer and General Knowledge Awareness of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Ashli currently lives in Columbus, Ohio and enjoys watching travel shows while dreaming of her next destination.

As Edenred Pay’s Director of Invoice Automation, Rich handles a wealth of  responsibilities that assist multiple departments within the company. Rich’s daily job functions include supporting the executive team, managing client relationships, and driving internal sales. His seven years of experience at a national and global level, across multiple different industries, have enabled him to act as a senior subject matter expert when it comes to everything Accounts Payable.  

Gwenn Aspen is the co-founder and CEO of Anequim LLC. Anequim helps property management companies operate more efficiently and thrive through customer service assistance, marketing initiatives, accounting services, and much more. Gwenn sources and manages a remote workforce for the Rent Manager Call Center and Anequim Office Services.

She is also the co-host of the Bootstrappers Podcast, which releases bi-weekly episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. Gwenn was also a founder of the Wistar Group property management company in Omaha, Nebraska, which manages 1,200+ doors and recently sold to Pure in 2021.

With over 20 years in the housing industry, Zach is an expert in helping property owners and managers save time and money through effective utility management. He leads sales across Conservice’s HOA, Manufactured Housing, and Single-Family divisions.

Michael serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for Rent Butter, Inc. headquartered in Chicago. With a visionary approach to leadership, Michael is defining the landscape of sales and marketing, propelling Rent Butter’s growth in diverse rental housing markets, including manufactured housing, multifamily, and single- family.

Known for his innovative spirit, Michael has championed the development of cutting-edge products that embody scalability, efficiency, and distinctiveness. Among his notable achievements is the conception and implementation of a groundbreaking proprietary decision matrix tool. Fusing machine learning and AI technologies, this tool revolutionizes the operator’s decision-making process, enabling automated optimization of selection criteria.

With 20 years of experience in PropTech and entrepreneurship, Drew has collaborated with numerous property management companies and software firms to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the demands of today and propel PropTech into the future. As the sixth employee at Zego, Drew played a pivotal role in their success as their top sales leader and has continued to scale multiple businesses following his departure.

Drew is currently the President and co-founder of Prisma Prop Tech, a leading solution for payments, banking, and resident engagement portals. 

Currently over the Findigs Sales division, Grace has spent the last 10 years working at Fortune 500 media/technology companies and investing, advising and operating several early-stage startup companies. As a founding member of the Findigs team, Grace has worn many hats, including overseeing scaling the Go-To-Market organization to hundreds of customers and managing platform partnerships such as the Findigs-Rent Manager relationship.

Curtis Dudley, CEO of IT In Flow, is an information technology consultant who helps businesses implement modern technology and automate processes in their businesses. Curtis is Rent Manager Core certified and has been described as the “Rent Manager Whisperer” because he is such a renowned Rent Manager power user and an out-of-the-box thinker. Curtis is also the go-to question-answerer in the Rent Manager User Forum on Facebook.

His experience using technology in the industry began more than 30 years ago while working for his family’s property management business. He has a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and was formerly the Chief Information Officer for All County Property Management.

As the Director of Marketing and Innovation, Sarah oversees comprehensive marketing strategies and digital innovation for Clachan Properties’ portfolio across Virginia and the Carolinas. Her responsibilities include managing websites, social media platforms, print materials, availability feeds, and more, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand presence across diverse channels.

Sarah’s leadership has been instrumental in driving Clachan Properties’ market positioning and enhancing its competitive edge. Ray is the CEO and co-founder of Property Meld, a web-based software dedicated to solving the industry’s biggest maintenance obstacles by increasing productivity and lowering maintenance costs. Ray and co-founder David Kingman started Property Meld in 2014 to bring data-driven decision-making and automation to the property management maintenance world. Ray’s background is rooted in the manufacturing business.

A degreed engineer, his previous roles have involved reducing operating expenses while improving quality and consistency. He has combined his operational knowledge with technology to start one of the fastest-growing real estate technology companies in the United States.

Director of Sales and AP Automation expert, Jon Land, has worked with hundreds of Real Estate organizations helping them overcome their biggest AP challenges and revolutionize their payables process. With 12+ years of educating, coaching, and facilitating positive change, Jon is a trusted advisor who brings the business acumen, situational knowledge, and experience to each engagement. Lisa Marvin is CEO and Partner of Essence Property Management, Inc. She is the mayor of St. Stephen, Minnesota; a licensed Real Estate Broker; a Certified Fair Housing Specialist; a Neutral Mediator in the state of Minnesota, and COS and COM 42 certified.

Lisa has acquired a wide-ranging portfolio in her 25-year career, including market rate and multi-layered subsidized communities for apartments, townhomes, and senior communities. Lisa is passionate about making the multifamily industry a positive part of every community.

Sean is the Property Management Business Line Director at Edenred PAY, specializing in helping property management companies optimize, digitize, and monetize their AP payments. With over 23 years of property management, banking, and AP automation experience, Sean has cultivated a dedicated “whatever it takes” work ethic and a client-first mindset. Currently serving in “Organizational Services” at Uptown Rental Properties, Angie plays a crucial role in streamlining operations and boosting efficiency through the strategic use of technology. She acts as the help desk resource for 100 users, providing support and troubleshooting for software-related issues.

Angie also leads software implementations, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing system effectiveness across the organization. Her role includes proactive problem management, ensuring that potential issues are identified and resolved swiftly to minimize disruptions and enhance productivity company-wide. Her proficiency as a Rent Manager user for over 5 years underscores her deep understanding of the software’s capabilities and her commitment to delivering optimized solutions.

As Senior Account Executive for Upmarket at Birdeye, Geno brings over 18 years of high-level SaaS and digital marketing solutions experience to the table.  Geno’s top-level sales expertise focuses on consultative sales approach, negotiation, closing business, and establishing and maintaining crucial business relationships.

He specializes in SaaS solutions for real estate verticals, including property management for multi-family housing entities as well as B2B and B2C mid-market and enterprise-size organizations. Geno’s prior accomplishments include functioning as one of the first digital account executives at CBS and Clear Channel Radio and launching over 20 markets for Groupon.  

Nicole Schook, Director of Operations, Technology and Marketing has built her career at Eagle Rock Properties, a large private equity company managing more than 9,000 apartment homes. Over her career, Nicole has served on Conference Panels with Rent Manager, collaborated with Multifamily Insider to discuss industry hardships, and has built an extensive multifamily network through industry partners and her educational connections.

At Eagle Rock Properties, Nicole is focused on creating strong technological enhancements that innovate business protocols and operating policies. She has personally overseen the successful implementation of leasing solutions, improved marketing consistency, effective operating policies, and technological enhancements to refine all aspects of business efficiency. Nicole also graduated with her master’s degree in business innovation and management from Stony Brook University, where she utilizes these skills to enhance her overall knowledge of business solutions and growth.

Jen has been with Latchel from the very beginning, joining during the start of the company in 2017. Now the VP of Industry Relations, she previously worked in operations and headed up the sales department. Prior to Latchel, she was a project/asset manager for a private company in Mercer Island, WA, overseeing 258 Luxury Apartment doors and just under one million square feet of commercial space.  

Dr. Sivalenka began his revenue management career as a data scientist working for the Walt Disney Company, helping them build algorithms for the cruise industry. Moving on to AIMCO (Apartment Investment and Management Company), he managed their revenue management operations team, representing almost one million income-producing units. He later joined the Rainmaker Group (LRO), running their implementations across different clients.

Amruth currently leads the asset revenue management team in expanding product and service offerings and business development of the Spherexx Optimize platform.

Christian is a Connecticut native with over 5 years of sales experience. As the Channel Partnership Manager for LeaseTrack, Christian facilitates and manages the company’s relationship with Rent Manager. In this role, he is instrumental in improving the LeaseTrack customer experience, particularly for Rent Manager customers who offer LeaseTrack renters insurance products. This working partnership between the two companies has been crucial for the success and adoption of renters insurance products through Rent Manager.
