Rent Manager offers two options for handling management fee postings: Advanced and Standard. The Advanced method is the old way of handling these fees. If you’ve been using Rent Manager for a long time, you certainly have your fees set up on the Advanced method where fees are calculated against specific GL accounts. The new method, Standard, collects management fees against tenant payments. The new way lets you post management fees as often as you want, simplifies reporting, and provides at-a-glance auditing of which payments you’ve collected fees on and which ones you haven’t.
