Metron: Save Time, Money & Water with Automated Smart Meters

Most multifamily communities have one water source feeding the whole community, and the easiest way to charge the tenants for their water is to equally divide the water cost amongst the tenants. That may seem fair & equitable, until one neighbor has a humongous leak and all the neighbors pay for that leak. Community owners see this issue and wonder how to hold tenants accountable for the irresponsible water usage. The solution is Submetering. In our experience, it is common for a community’s overall water usage to decrease 25%-30% after the installation of submeters.
